The CITB HS&E test
Most CSCS cards need a pass in the CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) test, taken within the last two years.
Independent, not affiliated with or endorsed by CSCS or CITB
The basics
- There are three types of test: Operatives, Specialists, and Managers and Professionals. The CSCS Card Finder tells you which one your card needs.
- Each test lasts 45 minutes and has 50 questions.
- The test costs £23.50, paid to CITB when you book.
- The test is booked directly with CITB, online or by phone on 0344 994 4488. CSCS does not provide tests.
