CSCS and CITB fees checked on 17 October 2026: the card fee on cscs.uk.com (external site run by CSCS), the HS&E test fee on citb.co.uk (external site run by CITB). These fees can change, so check those sites before you pay. Our service fee is separate from, and on top of, the CSCS and CITB fees.
Applying direct
You do not have to use a third party. You can apply directly to CSCS through the My CSCS app or CSCS Online and pay only the £36 card fee. CSCS says that if you are paying more than £36 for a card, you should check what extra services you are getting (CSCS guidance on third-party card services (external site run by CSCS)).
Independent service. CSCS Colindale is an independent service and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme). You can apply for a CSCS card yourself, directly with CSCS, through the My CSCS app or CSCS Online.
